The transfer of professional qualifications (CT)2 ensures that students from an adult vocational institution or vocational secondary school can transfer equivalent technical programs to any public university without duplication or unnecessary institutional barriers. Stark State College student Whitney Tarr was initially intimidated by the idea of moving to Akron University. Now Whitney is happy to start here in January. She will be the first Direct Connect student at Akron`s SSC campus to join the AU. TRANSFERT MODULE: The transfer module consists of 36-40 hours of semesters in English, mathematics, arts/letters, social sciences and natural sciences. These instructions must be followed by students when selecting courses for the transfer module. Stark State College offers its students comfort through online courses and satellite centers and off-campus sites in Alliance, Barberton, Downtown Canton, Carrollton, Massillon, Navarre, Plain Township, Portage Lakes and Uniontown/Hartville to better serve local students. Each site offers students the same comfort, accessibility, quality faculty and individual attention as our main campus. Through partnerships with Kent State Stark, Franklin University and Toledo University, Stark State students can earn a bachelor`s degree without leaving the Stark State campus. In addition, there are articulation agreements with many other colleges and universities to help students graduate four years after graduating from Stark State. Each year, approximately 90% of Stark State graduates are employed after graduation, and about 90% of our graduates live and work in the community. UA has dual admission agreements with Stark State and TRI-C. A student must meet all the minimum general education requirements in the transfer module (see column 2 of the table) to ensure the full portability of all transfer module credits.

Compliance with the requirements of Columns 2 and 3 will meet the requirements of the transfer module.
